You have two different color printing options when ordering less than 300 discs. Lets try and explain those options.
Full-color On-Disc Printing
Full Color On-Disc Printing is an economical digital printing process designed to meet the basic requirements of full color disc printing. Quick and efficient, this printing style is our most cost effective solution for your budget!
Finish: This printing process will give your discs a textured look similar to a gloss finish. Designs can have a granular, pixilated finish due to the characteristics of this printing style.
Important Design Notes:
- White discs are used for the printing process. We do not print on to the silver surface of the disc.
- Avoid using large areas of solid color. Solid backgrounds are not recommended.
- Fine or soft details within an image may be lost due to the nature of the printing style.
- Avoid drop shadows and transparency effects. These elements may not print properly.
- Small or thin text below a size of 10pt should be avoided, as this can become illegible when printed.
Classic Glossy Full Color On-Disc Printing
Finish: Discs are printed with a smooth, high gloss sheen. Colors will print vibrant and vivid.
- White discs are used for the printing process. We do not print on to the silver surface of the disc.
- Ideal for high resolution photorealistic images and color critical designs.
- Large, solid colors and backgrounds will have a smooth, consistent finish.
- Avoid drop shadows and transparency effects. These elements may not print properly.
- Small or thin text below a size of 6pt should be avoided, as this can become illegible when printed.
